Why the Left Wing Media is Obsessed With Trump’s Base

Our press has an unhealthy obsession with “Trump’s base.” The obstinate 38% or 39%, that the media can’t stop talking about. The ones who still support Trump.

The Base!

There is now, and has always been, an immovable base on both the Democratic and Republican wings of the electorate. However, the media is unconcerned with the base on the left because they view them as normal reasonable people and there is no need to examine or discuss them. The world will be fine if they remain right where they are. However, the base behind Trump is a different story.

The origin of the press’ infatuation with the Trump base was the election loss of Hillary Clinton. The media believes it is their job to shape public opinion. The clip below supports this. An MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski was caught in a Freudian slip as she warned her audience about Trump: “He [Trump] could control exactly what people think, and that is our job.”

The NY Times, CNN and MSNBC spent the campaign season ripping Trump apart with innuendo and lies; racist, sexist, assault, Russian spy, unfit, narcissistic, violence inducer and homophobic. And yet Trump won and Hillary lost. They saw his win as their failure and as their sin.

The Damn Base!!

All sins need repentance and a crucial aspect of penance is a vow not to repeat the same sin again. Within the first week of the election-postmortem, the press went on a mission to understand these people who defied them and voted Trump into office. The manner in which they studied Trump voters resembled more of a recon mission of the enemy looking for weaknesses to exploit. The media needed to turn some his base to their side.

Van on the move

CNN sent correspondent Van Jones out to middle America to see what was wrong with these insubordinate fools. CNN host Alison Camerota conducted (video link) focus groups with Trump supporters. Political pundits and pollsters chastised themselves for not understanding the plight of these Trump voters. In time, the quest morphed into an angry frustrated mission. This base of voters became the silent enemy of the media. An enemy in need of conquering. A conquering that is proving difficult to achieve.

The F^@$*ing Base!!!

The warped sense of their role as mind-molders had a detrimental effect on the press. They devolved further into what we have now. A bunch of folks hell-bent on destroying Trump without any need to hinge their reporting to reality. They feel a responsibility to change the minds of Trump’s base to do the right thing and vote Trump out.

The Russia collusion story dominated the airwaves for months, the press abandoned the need for facts or actual news. The mission wasn’t to inform the public but rather to say both “Trump” and “Russia” together in the same headline to get the Trump-base to change its god-damned mind. And when that massive story didn’t dupe the Trump supporters they felt failure. In the following clip, we see CNN report on how their Russia story didn’t persuade the base.

“…not any of them [the base] willing to entertain that there might be more than just smoke to this [Russia] fire.”

The media is now constantly reporting polls to see if their propaganda is breaking the base.  It never does. So after they perform a little self-flagellation, and some mocking of Trump supporters, the feeling of ‘if at first you don’t succeed try-try again” perseveres and a new slew of stories awaits on the horizon.

The Deep State Playbook

Clapper

The combination of a compromised press and our corrupted intelligence bureaus is ominous. Most folks accept the premise that most of our news media hates the current president, to the core. It likewise becomes clearer each day (see video) how the intelligence community feels about the president. Trump-hysteria infects the heart which clouds the mind leaving no one immune.

Rogers

The Washington Post and CNN will eagerly accept and publish anything that demeans Trump, provided it comes from a ‘reliable source.’ They are not going to investigate the other side of the story and they damn sure don’t fully question their prized sources to obtain a complete narrative. But they do require a legitimate source, they don’t make shit up. This lone criteria in our current climate created a perfect game plan for the deep state (our intelligentsia) who are themselves per se an unending fountain of reliable sources. Here is an imagined example of how it works;

Hayden

After high level meetings with adversaries, like Russia, our CIA reviews every detail of the meeting for any data to glean. CIA agents and technology detect countless nuggets of information to examine. We can assume presidential meetings receive more than a once-over. We can also assume defensive reviews take place to ensure our side did not give something away to the adversary. If there is a suspicion that something passed from either side, there is further review. This is where the chicanery comes in.

Brennan

Let us pretend there is a routine call for a review of something Trump said that is potentially sensitive data. Regardless of the outcome of said review, a corrupt source tells a CNN stooge that they can confirm “there is concern Trump may have disclosed sensitive data to the Russians.” This is not a lie, it’s a little exaggeration and cherry picking of facts, but when CNN finishes the evening news, there are calls for impeachment. CNN has mastered the art of laundering innuendo into facts to make it suitable for endless repetition. The best part, no one can dispute classified information.

The basic cycle of intelligence agents illegally leaking half-truths to the gung-ho corrupt press repeats until the president falls.

Jake Tapper’s Judgement Clouded

Stay Woke Jake Tapper

The CNN anchor Jake Tapper captured two former heads of the United States intelligence agencies admitting {video below} that they both believe Donald Trump is assaulting our democracy and yet Tapper didn’t ask the most basic follow-up question.

Clapper, ‘I think our institutions are under assault internally’
Tapper, ‘Internally from the President?”
Clapper, “Exactly’
Clapper, ‘I feel as though [checks and balances] is under assault and eroding’
Hayden, ‘As a citizen I totally agree with what Jim {Clapper] told you yesterday’ [said after hearing Clapper’s comments]

Does Tapper comprehend what happens if the leaders of the NSA, CIA and FBI conclude that the President is assaulting democracy? These two former intelligence giants surmised that Trump is impeding the other branches of our government from doing one of their constitutionally assigned duties; keeping the executive in check. Tapper is so happy to have people on his team (Go Hillary) he doesn’t ask the spy duo what they would do about this crisis, or what their replacements are going to do about it. If they feel our very democracy is in jeopardy, then what? Watch it all fall down? Great job Jake. Maybe when the Marines call Trump a Clear and Present Danger you will awake from your slumber. These men are dangerous.

Another Way CNN Perpetuates Anti-Trump Hate

We have detailed here and here some of the tactics used by CNN to propagate the Democratic agenda and perpetuate a hatred of the President. But there is another tool in their toolbox that is as absurd. Here’s how it works and an interesting recent problem they faced:

CNN won’t show this side of crime

If a story is about immigration, CNN brings on guests who are illegal immigration success stories. If a story is about Trump rebuilding the nuclear arsenal, CNN brings on the author of a book about nuclear holocaust. The tactic is simple, CNN chooses an “expert” with a slanted point of view,

But when CNN reported a story about the Attorney General cracking down on crime, they faced a problem maintaining their stance as the opposition. An audience would find it ridiculous if CNN sided with the criminals. So what did they do? They found the 1 in 10,000 peddlers of poison, who turned his life around, and interviewed him. They are shameless.

UPDATE 05/15/2017: CNN is playing the race angle. Increases in law enforcement or criminal justice is racist, it disproportionately affects blacks.
